Smiley T. Papenfus... I dropped my Konica Minolta DiMage Z10 camera, which caused certain functions to fail. I know this camera well - it takes great home pictures for my Real Estate business. I searched on Google for a camera repair shop & found Cam-Tek - fortunately for me, fairly close to home. The online testimonials (see below) recommended their services - they were right. This Polish immigrant & his American born son are HONEST, RELIABLE & PROFICIENT. They repaired my camera in a couple of days, for a very reasonable fee, saving me the couple of hundred bucks it would have set me back to buy a new camera. Camera stores would obviously want one to spend their dollars on a new camera. From firsthand experience I can highly recommend the repair alternative - because of the INTEGRITY of this entrepreneur.

And the quality of his work is VERY good. A real asset to the camera community. I have used him on a number of occasions, and never been disappointed. Pros: Honest, dependable, high quality work. Cons: Can be hard to reach.
Excellent Service by Rick Lewis at Citysearch Ted has always given me fast professional service. He understands the needs of the working professional photographer and does everything he can to accommodate us. His rates are reasonable as are his turn around times. To the reviewer that thought Ted was not interested in working on low end cameras; I bet you he saved you money, as the cost of repair would have exceeded the value of your camera. I have always found Ted to be honest and very knowledgeable about his work. I recommend him. Pros: Local, Professional Service.
So very helpful by J. Parker at Citysearch I am a professional artist/designer who uses my camera daily. When the curtain stuck last week, I thought a part had broken and expected I would pay handsomely to get it repaired. I called Cam-Tek to get a quote and idea of how long the repair would take, and the kind and patient man who answered the phone was able to walk me through fixing the issue myself in some 5 minutes - free of charge! How nice of him to save me the time and money it could have taken to have someone diagnose the problem. Don't go looking for free service, because no one can run a business on favors, but trust the integrity of this shop - honesty and straight talk in camera repair is hard to come by. Pros: Helped me fix my Cannon Rebel over the phone! Cons: What are the drawbacks?
